Value system along what metric? As a profit max value system - I disagree
I still think that HWD could be profit max without the blind promotion of the brand name and the belief that the name transcends all - even when fitting the horological emperor with new clothes. It does however require you to admit that the extent of consumer surplus available is smaller.
However, given the recent developments at HWRT that we have witnessed in the last two or three years, I rather think that HWD have not opted for this.
Just sad really....
