Has lead to the "acceptance" as normal for bracelet watches, with tough thick chunks as "dinner" watches...sigh.
You are correct, I attend formal embassy events, and women should not be wearing watches in a european setting. However, with the recent changes in how the watch is "seen" or rather "perceived"...well, in part, due to my insistence that women attending these events start wearing some of their watches as conversational pieces of art vis a vis jewelry..whatever...it is changing .
I hope for the better.
There are however. elements of BAD taste...to me. IMHO..like wearing an RM007 for a formal dinner. I really hate that watch. Chuckles!!!
