what could become another day of heavy rain here. ...

I’d tell you to buy a couple of fountain pens 🖋️

as they are so fun to write with, but knowing you I’m hesitant as it could go to a full blown 100 pen collection and we actually need you in watches department.

Pens are bunny slopes compared to watches:-)

My favorite ST DuPont - perfect heft, size and finish - but I never have the opportunity to use it anymore as everything is digital ...

Yes just a great pleasure.

I don’t really have to write with them but I create occasions, journaling or writing my thoughts on a quality paper etc. These two are the last ones I bought, one for me and one for a dear friend, Pelikan 400 tortoise, both from around 1951 - 1952 ...

Wow, real vintage!

Those who in the know say that writing with those vintage Pelikan 400s is a delight, they have more flex then the modern nibs and they flow on paper. Couldn’t try it yet, waiting for my friend to choose which one he wants. We will see if what they say is ...

Checked it, Montblanc is still selling this on its website so you are still not late mon ami

a fountain pen everyday for notes at the office, I rarely use a ballpoint anymore. I have 2 "middle of the road" fountain pens but am holding out for Montblanc, no real reason why, that is just what I want, but I know there are others equally as good, may...

I hope you can find the Montblanc that you want.

As my Montblanc I bought a Rouge et Noir Bebe, it’s very small and easy to use and carry everywhere, and it’s M nib is just butter smooth with just a little bit of spring, I like it a lot. The downsides are that since it’s a very small pen not very approp...

Thanks Derreck,

I'll pick one up one of these days. I don't want or need any of the limited or spcial editions, just the basic fountain pen. Something that will last me years and when I am gone one of our sons who is also into fountain pens can take it. So far I have fou...

That’s the spirit I think.

Wasting ink would make my cloth dirty, so a good rollerball Montblanc is better. I must confess, it feels good in my hand while writing. ...
